I guess now is as good a time as any to tell you guys about my small Avril Lavigne obsession as a child. I don't know what it was, but I went through this "rocker girl" phase with the pink button up oxfords and plaid skirts. Keep in mind that I went to public school back then and plaid skirts were not cool by any means.
Annnnyway. I was having a flashback about middle school an decided to work with a more "grungy" post. I love to wear dark colors and I usually stick to simple prints or no prints at all. Picking simple pieces and dressing them up with heels and girly hair is my way of playing up the harsh lipstick and dark eye make up.
I probably wouldn't go any more "Hot Topic" than this, but it's nice to know I still have a hint of sk8er girl in me.
