romper: Marshall's // sweater: H&M // over the knees: Forever 21
I'm finally back to posting!
This past week has been a whirlwind of weddings, reunions and all the turkey one could ever eat. I had such a great time spending Thanksgiving with my family and I hope everyone was safe for the holiday.
It was already decided that if I got writers block for this post, I would just list all the things that I ate this weekend. Since I'm just starting to blog, however, I thought I'd spare the few (wonderful) followers from reading an entire Publix grocery list. :)
Clothes:
I found this romper at Marshall's and did a little victory dance when I realized it actually fit. Rompers are tricky for me and my torso is either too long or I look like a drowning fish once they are at the right length. This one, however, fit just right and I paired it with a sweater and over the knee socks. Hooray for cooler weather.
Hair:
This is my favorite things about this post! I can't remember where I got the idea but I wanted to braid the front section of my hair to wrap around my head. To make everything more symmetrical (and complicated) I took the next "row" of hair and reversed a braid to fall on the other side of my hair. I placed the remainder of my hair in a sock bun and wrapped the ends of the braids around the bun, securing them with pins. This was my first attempt, but once I get it down to a science, I will try to post a hair tutorial!
It was a wonderful holiday break and now I am back to studying, or as I like to call it, "blogging next to my textbooks".
xo,
