Saturday Favorites: Alt-J, Belle and Sebastian, Clean Bandit, Hozier, Jack White, Milky Chance, Phox
Remember when I said that if I could pick any band to watch, I'd pick Alabama Shakes? Well, if I had to pick a second band to watch, it would be these seven. I really could NOT narrow down these amazing artists and then I realized I didn't have to! The whole point of a music festival (other than to wear flowers in your hair) is to see all of your favorite performers at one venue.
In the last post I talked about dressing for the music and wearing outfits that are inspired by a particular artist or group. I wasn't able to do that for this post, because the bands that I chose were so diverse. I decided to go with a very neutral festival look. If you're in California, it's pretty hard to go wrong with crop-tops and cut-offs. I added a light-weight coverup to reduce the chances of a sunburn, but stuck to short sleeves other than that.
Since you guys are familiar with my new Spotify obsession, I thought I'd share the Coachella playlist that has been floating around. Because we can't all afford to take off work and go, we can still listen from our computers and wish we were there.
