Gold Accessories: I Need Them All

Have you ever had a pair of jeans that you really love but don’t wear that often? These high waisted, gold button jeans are a personal “rare wear” for me. I, for some odd reason, have trouble finding shirts that I think work well with them. It should be simple to find a loose fitting shirt that tucks in or a fitted tank that can show off curves, but I keep struggling with it.

This simple cream chiffon blouse is perfect, however, and I finally figured out why! It is short in the front and long in the back so I don’t have to tuck it in and feel like awkward or like it shapes me in an odd way. I also love the buttons on the jeans and this blouse doesn't cover up any of the gold.

It's a fairly simple outfit so I decided to play it up with a sequin gold clutch (one of my faves) and a couple Lily and Laura bracelets to tie it all together. This outfit has been great for lunch dates or holiday functions where it is important to look nice without overdressing. 
Keep it simple and play up your strengths!
