To Belt or Not to Belt, That is the Question

I have been pairing this scarf with everything. I love the cranberry and grey colors, and 

recently I have seen women wearing scarves over their coats and then belting them. There are times when I thought it was cute, and then others when I wasn't such a fan of the outcome. I wouldn't try this look with a thin or light weight scarf. The weight of the scarf is what adds to the belting and creates a layered look for cooler weather.
